Panel Concepts began the business of do-it-yourself small panelized cabins in 1996. Since then, it has grown and now offers a line of panelized cabins ranging from small camping, hunting and fishing cabins to larger cottages for 4 season living. These cabins and cottages are engineered to your specific building site and location with a variety of options to choose from. Custom cabins and cottages are also available. Most cabins and cottages require a minimum of tools for construction (screw gun, hammer, level, chalk line, stepladder, etc.). No heavy equipment is required.

Our panels within our log home kits are easily assembled with high-grade screws, to make walls in four-foot increments to your desired length. Any type of floor system may be used with the panels. The roof is also in panels for ease of construction. The panels give the appearance of a charming and elegant open beam cathedral ceiling using select knotty pine decking. There are a variety of basic engineered models from which you can choose – a quick and practical small seasonal cabin, a larger cabin partially insulated to increase your seasonal indoor floor space, and, finally, a fully insulated cottage for your year round residential use. These basic models are available in single unit width of 12’, 16’, 20’ and a variety of lengths. Single units can be joined together for an unlimited variety of floor plan layouts. Two roof pitch options are available (6/12 and 12/12), along with other optional items such as loft kits, covered porches, interior knotty pine partition walls, and porches designed for screening.
